In Response To: Strip: Coaming before or after glassing? (Andrew T)

: Do you guys typically build the coaming riser and lip before or
: after glassing a deck?
: I've found it being done both ways. Is one easier, or have any
: advantage, over the other?

: Was thinking I'd do some deck glassing in the next week or two
: (supposed to warm up a little).
: Then it dawned on me that maybe I should do the coaming first..
: Any advice appreciated as always :)

I'm with Bryan... strip, cut out and build the recess, glass, then cut out the coaming opening and build the coaming
