: I found a picturesque little lake in Northern New Hampshire, U.S.A.
: to launch the Guillemot L. The name of the lake is Forest Lake
: and it is about halfway between the towns of Bethlehem and
: Whitefield. Some friends and I drove up there on Friday
: afternoon and tossed her in. She does not track as straight as
: my Necky Elahu kayak, but I will work on the paddling technique
: a bit before I put a skeg in her.

: In the video the snow capped mountain is Mt. Lafayette (5269'), and
: the large non-snow capped are the Twins (north and south, about
: 4700'.)

Kayak looks great!

Tip for getting in (and out) easier - set one end of the paddle behind the coaming and sit on it, then lean on the other end in the sand while you get your feet in, and slide fwd into the 'pit. Makes it really easy to get in and out, even in small waves if near such action.
