: Sam,

: I have checked Sweet Composites page. According to the Fabric
: Finishes section, it is not reasonalbe to use glass fiber, 3 or
: 5 years after production date without testing. Could please
: clarify what kind of tests should be done in this regard?

: Reza

I got out some scraps for a project over the winter, and I warmed the resin and hardener, poured and spread, then used a heat gun. All things I didn't do when I built my last kayak, which turned out fine. Even with all of those extra steps, it did not/would not wet out completely clear. Others have noticed this. I'm not worried about strength, and it was a little test project, so I just tested putting on graphite and silica fill coats. Others have noted the same issue with wetout.
