You are preachin' to the choir!!! I live on an island of 50,000 people with just over 100,000 for all three islands. I have it shipped. Probably would be more difficult for you with all the regulations now for shipping wood. I can ship up to 8' lengths with USPS. I also have been known to stop in Miami and pick up wood on my travels. The airlines are always quite suspicious of a guy checking a plank of wood. If ever your way I shall bring some as a housewarming gift.
