There are people that just don't understand that something that old needs to be treasured. As bad as that cutting is it doesn't compare to us losing the Senator in my neck of the world. I stopped by looked at that old cypress on my bike rides and always felt awe. I wanted to cry when it was gone. One of my co-workers proposed to his wife last year at the foot of the Senator and now they won't have a place to go on their anniversary.
