Syringes are OK for tiny batches, but then you have to clean them or buy new ones.

With the small digital scale I can put a small piece of tinfoil, anything, turn on the scale, than add a few drips of resin and the needed drip of hardener.
The scale will measure below one gram, is accurate. (a gram of water is 1 cm x 1 cm x 1 cm or .035 ounces, epoxy is a little denser, need anything smaller than 1/10 ounce?)

The cheap digital scales, are now dirt cheap, accurate and fun to have around. I've got an infrared thermometer, digital wind meter (anemometer) (My only complaint is that all those 10 knot winds I've heroically paddle through turn out to be 4 knots).

I used a $6 digital luggage scale in a levered machine to measure 10x its capacity (when the scale says 30 kg, it's measuring 300 kg). We use it at school to test student bridges, it's accurate, repeatable. One girl and her dad hid a couple of pieces of 2x6 in popsicle sticks.
