I already have the trailer from a pop up camper so it is larger than the usual 4x or 5x 8 design, I have a full size truck to pull it so it will be a little larger but with the same shape and galley in the rear. My SO already has one but her's only accommodates a full sized mattress, I think I may go for a California King :) I also plan built in kayak racks combined with awnings. I will use the hollow rack pipe to have a nifty rain/shade option cantilever. No purchased plans, just freestyle suited for us.

Her's has the aluminium skin and will blind you, I'm thinking a strip built outer skin of cedar increasing the thickness of the strips with an American Indian motif. I will insulate it including the floor for a future AC option. We found they can be a little sweat box in the summer but not much worse than a tent with the windows and vent open and a fan running. The lights and fan can run all weekend off the battery.

: OK, I'm officially jealous!!!

: What teardrop plan are you going with?

: Enjoy the new space.
