I have had no trouble shipping to the UK. As stated, find a company that carries less than load. Sometimes you can find a smaller company that fills containers with individual items from different people. When the container is filled, then it ships. Could be a wait, but less expensive. Defintely want to conatact a customs broker for whatever country you plan to have it land in to make sure all paperwork is done right unless you can ship it as personal items.
