Thanks Duane. This is most helpful. That, of course, is why I had my friend take this picture. Now I can easily see that the bow is down way too far - much more than the 2-3 pounds (fleece top and one piece fleece suit) in the dry bag could ever do!! I'm thinking it might be as much as 1 to 1.5" off!!

This most likely accounts for why the boat did respond as well to edging either!! Of course I am comparing it to the Black Pearl because that's what I've been using lately. But something felt a bit "off"

I'll admit that I may have moved my seat ahead a bit - perhaps as much 3/4 ". Looks like I'm going to have shift it back!! I have to take it out anyway to do some re-shaping anyway (the back lip was rubbing my tail bone while paddling so I'll just trim that area) so I'll simply go with your original specs. Do you think 3/4" would make that much of a difference in the trim?

When initially setting up the seat placement I was going on the idea that I could fit my fist between my back and the coaming - which is almost exactly 4". Maybe not the best way to go!!
