Something must be out of whack for sure. Below is a picture of the sheer after I made the cuts - it's perhaps the best / cleanest view of how I changed the shape.

I left the bow and stern pretty full while dropping the sheer mostly amidships!l As such, the trim should look pretty much the same for a "regular" Point Bennett.

I had some water in the cockpit - maybe 3/4" - I wonder if it was running fwd to the bulkhead and placing more weight forward. Almost like a submarine ready to dive!!

I always get water in my boats and I'm not sure why!! Spray skirt is brand new and very tight to the coaming and around my waist - the same with the Black Pearl - but both take on water.
