Dan I beat you with age and first build.
I am 70 now. Did build my first kajak (we called it a kano then) when I was 16.
You beat me far out with the number of boats.

My first k.ajak was lost in a fire in 1970 when the barn where it was, burrned down.
When I was 18 I completed my first sailboat. It was a polyester rowboat inwich I
build a midsword and put a mast and a rudder on. Did not make the hull myself.

When I was 55 I discovered kayaking again. Did build the S&G Guillemot in which
I paddeled more thean 10 yaers. Then the Night Heron was build in 2010 and
I finished the Fire Star in 2014.
Like paddling a lot and building too. But here in the Netherlands it is not easy to
sell your boat and my garage is not roomy enough.
Now I am thinking of building a canoe. Do not yet know which design, still studieing.
