Bill, I think it is a wonderful idea to buy her a cheap plastic kayak to learn in. I am sure when she paddles this for a season she will then know how to handle a low volume boat and pretty much know what she wants as far as boats go.So what will it be a stripper or a skin boat (lucky girl).
