I just searched the Trips Forum section of this site for Vancouver Island and got nothing. That forum does not seem to get as much traffic as the builders forum so I will post here.
Two years ago Jane and I spent two weeks on the island, one week exploring and one week on The Mother Ship kayaking among the islands. Best vacation we ever had. A Christmas present to Jane is to go back this summer.
I know there are members on this forum from Vancouver Island as I have see your posts but I do not know who you are. I would like to hear from you with information on recommended kayak packages offered. There seems to be a lot of them. Recommendations from locals carry a lot more weight with us than glossy advertising does :)
I am thinking the builders forum is not the place for this discussion but I wanted to be sure to get your attention. If we need to move to the 'trips forum' that is fine. If you would like to contact me direct that is fine too.
