I don't think it has had meaningful changes since that time if any. It is a pretty easy learning curve and the forum has plenty of people that will help if you have a question. There is not a lot of volume on the forum but there are a few people that watch it at least weekly. I have had some health concerns keep me from building the last few years but with the warmer weather coming on I am going to try a late season build where I can create all my saw dust outside. I was just playing in kayak foundry last weekend finishing a couple of designs from a few years ago.
