Weight and strength are the issues, for sure. I'm not sure that those specs mean the T5 is necessarily heavier than the T832 because in the comparison chart the T5 seems bigger (thicker).

As far as strength, I assume, but don't know, the higher T- would be stronger. Maybe for the same strength then, the T5 would be heavier? Don't know...

I wrote Thyssen asking about weight, strength and also corrosion resistance (maybe should have specified from water?). Hopefully they'll write back soon.
