Duane, I don't know whether to be thankful or be ticked at you:) I was just starting a new S&G and now my focus is shot. That Point Bennet is a beautiful boat! I don't know why I have never found that site before. I printed off the instructions and started on that one instead! I needed another greenland/touring boat anyway.
Seriously, thanks for the post. Free plans are also a plus.
: I'm just a little disappointed at how kayak manufacturers are being bought up
: by corporations and then turn out poor designs and construction. I
: definitely believe a better kayak can be made at home than bought. Giving
: the plans for free just adds insult to injury to the corporations. More
: and more in the future, it will be the serious paddlers who design and
: build their own kayaks. Sort of like going back to the heydays of the
: Inuit.
