In addition to the "mini-hatch" previously described, Kajak-Sport also offers six different types (shapes & sizes) of on-deck hatches! At least three of these hatches are designed specifically for "day-hatch" applications ... choose from 4"; 6"; and 8" round (the remaining three larger hatches are more applicable for the main bulkheads in the bow and stern). I particularly like the 6" round day-hatch, which I have installed right behind my cockpit (in addition to the mini-hatch inside my cockpit) and I use this primarily to store my emergency and first-aid kits, etc. Check it out for yourself ...
