Everyone will say someting different so use your judgement. I usually stop saniding the epoxy with 80 to 120 grit. You will need 4-6 coats for that yacht like finish. I sand between coats (sometimes every other coat) with 120 and highter finer as i get closer to "done" It is always a fight for me to end up with no drips.
Pratt and Lambert makes good stuff but make sure what you get is intended for exterior use and has UV blockers in it.
