: Do spring clamps squeeze out to much epoxy?

I just finished the back cockpit on my triple and have 2 more to do. I used the 15 minute epoxy so I wouldn't have to wait too long. I did them 1 strip at a time. I wet both the first strip and vertical part with epoxy and held them in place with spring clamps. I did that because the vertical part of the coaming already had epoxy on it. All of the later strips were glued with wood glue.

On each strip I staggered which one overlapped the other side at the front of the coaming. That way I didn't have to cut off the front like Nick does in the book.
