That makes a badger about $90 Canadian, plus 15% in sales taxes. I think I'll take my chances with Mastercraft. Pure bristle OK for varnish?

I've been wondering about plastic type finishes (eg: Varathane) for varnishing and for painting canvas. Any comments?

All help much appreciated.
