I like Wooden Boat. It is a well produced magazine, with enough detail in the articles to be worthwhile. I find the articles on woodworking tools, finishes, wood, and boatbuilding technique to be interesting as well as informative. There is lots of non-kayak specific stuff that still applies. I have tried a few of the Kayak/Paddlesports magazines and find little of interest. Most of the articles are pretty shallow, and don't have enough detail. There is a lot of "gear review" but not much on wooden kayaks. For ideas on where to paddle and just general excellent reading, I like Outside Magazine. Probably the best written magazine I know of.
