I have a Porter Cable 7336 that I have used for strip building canoes and to sand varnish from the exterior of my chestnut log house. I have really abused it on the house and it still works as good as new. The only problem I have found is that the dust collection shroud does not work on the concave surface of a canoe interior. If you get the shroud low enough to be effective, it hits the work surface.
