hi Mike;
i'm building a 17.5 foot sof in a living room in an apt that is 16 ft by 10 ft. it hangs from the ceiling when not being worked on. kitchen chairs are saw horses, and i have to crawl under the frame to get to the washroom. when i am finished i will have to take the screen off of a sliding window to get the boat out. some folks have dealt with worse!
good industrial concrete ancors will hold a lot more than any kayak weighs.
build on, brother! :D
