It's been over 100 degrees here for almost two months, in the 90's before that. I did all the epoxy work on my latest S&G outside (rental house--no garage/carport/any cover of any kind). Over the two and a half months I worked, I wasted about a half gallon of epoxy and two dozen brushes because it went off before I finished, but I have a nice boat.

I had no problems with humidity, and wouldn't suggest you precoat parts. They'll get too stiff to work easily, you'll have to sand to get a good mechanical bond--heck, the biggest problem is you only have a mechanical bond instead of a "soaked in" bond.

The outgassing is a concern with the first covering coat. Put it on in the early evening, as the wood is cooling rather than warming up.

You'll want a good exhaust fan. This will reduce humidity (by helping evaporation?) and keep you from passing out from the fumes...
