In Response To: Staining and Epoxy (Holli Brandt)

I am finishing a strip deck on a Tred Avon. I put redwood accent strips in, and am using fir around that. So far so good. It is slow going, and Chris's comment was "lot of work for a heavier deck" which is true, but mine will be different.

I have seen stains done but not tried it. I understand if you use a water base and let it dry good it should be fine. Have fun!
