Very disturbing story, Mark. I'm glad to hear you got away with a scare and no worse. I doubt you want to hear this, but I think it could have been worse than "significant damage" or "hurt bad". If I were you I'd _definitely_ consider either some ballast or a large base (perhaps a 4'x4' piece of plywood - something low profile so that you don't _trip_ over it.) or better yet, both. To hell with it being akward to move, one's safety is worth more than that.
