I'm about ready to glue on an inlay my wife designed to the Guillemot. Any hints from you guys? Each different color is a different piece of wood so I think I may have to glue them down individually and wait for each piece to dry before going on to the next piece.

The veneer has a strong tendancy to curve up, but I've managed to get it fairly flat with a steam iron and placing books on it for a few days.

Is Nick's method of plastic wrap a good idea?

Carpenter's glue or epoxy?

Any prior experience stories most welcome!
