What I still don't see is, if you have an internal strongback and you do the deck and then the hull, you won't be able to get at the forms to whack them free, because they are inside the boat.
So, you must have to do the hull, then take it off the forms, and do the deck.
If you are whacking the forms to loosen them from the hull, don't you have to detach the forms from the strongback first? If you don't do this, the forms won't move when you whack them, will they? Even if they do move a little and detach from the hull, doesn't this knock them out of alignment, so that you'd have to re-do that step before stripping the deck?

: I used hot glue and it worked well. I did not use the wood only hotglue that
: macks recommends. Normal general use worked fine for me. I wrapped the
: forms with duck tape first. A good whack with the heel of my hand removed
: the forms easily.

: I ditched the hot glue method for the most part because I could get a much
: tighter joint with duck tape alone.
