: Hi folks and first of all Happy Holidays to all the building Brothers and
: Sisters out there. Peace, Prosperity and Health in the Year to come.

: To avoid the heat generated by the end pour..were the resin exceeds 200ml I
: have good experience with glass bubbles. Although I would say that 200ml
: should be enough for such an endpour. By a larger "core-pour"
: divide it up into 150ml per hour keeping the resin rather fluid..you can
: mix in just about any fine substance obting for wood dust, or
: bubbles..being the most common.

The boat is assembled and the pour is going through a 1/2" hole that that will also serve as an entrance for the rope. I used Closed cell left over from the knee brace kit for the forms> it was carved to shape and lodged in the ends.
I've made incremental pours and will incorperate the rope (Monkey fist tails)into the last one. I'll probably melt the rope at the ends to join them and provide a toothy bonding surface for the for the dooky.

I'm glad to see the forum active on X-Mas. Birds of a feather...
