Yeah, maybe. It is why i asked here. Do someone know a canoe-kayak hybrid i can use efficiently with a double paddle, ideally my GP.

Mine is 36 inch wide for 16 feet long. It feel too wide and high with double paddle.

Again. It is why i ask. I use my canoe with no problem. I have done some whitewater with no problem. This fear come from my youth and i work on it as much as i can. People who know me are even surprise to see me in a boat.
