: They spent years and millions doing "usability" improvements, but
: still
: can't do basic stuff like pressing the other mouse button on a scroll icon
: makes it scroll the other way; getting a window to have the focus without
: popping to the front (I don't have to see what I'm typing, but I do have to
: see what I'm reading); and a way to pop a window to the back; oh, and a
: way to make it believe that I mean delete (not recycle) when I say delete,
: without asking me every time. Stuff other OSs have had for two decades !!

: Whilst intended as a description of what I find difficult in pony riding
: (they have their own intelligence and their own agenda) I still come back

Hi Andy,
I don't disagree.

A horse? I wish. It's more like a pig. Ever try herding them? :)

If I need to type from one window to another, I use half windows but most is from hardcopy to computer.

At least it runs design programmes.

I'm still wondering if there were any real improvements from DOS 3.1. :D
