: I posted a couple of weeks ago about an issue I had with my sprayskirt coming
: off the coaming lip if I pushed down hard on the top of it. Suggestions
: were to extend the lip (it's now about 1/2" deep). I've thought of an

: Would it be practical to take nylon string and epoxy it in place around the
: underside perimeter of the coaming lip? Seems like if the string was the
: same color as the coaming it would look OK.

: Any advice is appreciated,

Hi Bob,

Might work, took a minute or two to figure out why you'd do that :). I'd make a test piece first to try it, see if that much extra helps to hold the skirt or makes it easier for it to fall off. Only would need to be a few inches long matching the coaming/deck shape for you to tell if the addition would help or not using your skirt.
