: week, once on flatwater and once in the bay/ocean, and it handles great.
: It tracks well but turns fairly easily, has amazing secondary stability,
: and shows almost no nice of weathercocking (at least so far). For the
: first time I used Kayak Sport hatches and will never go back to using
: wooden ones. They are very easy to open but almost completely waterproof.

: The kayak is 18in wide and 16ft 7.5in long, although it was supposed to only
: be 16ft. I'm still not sure how I added the extra length. It also weighs
: about 35 pounds.

Nice job! It's refreshing to see a painted hull and bright deck. Is the width actualy 18"?? That is quite narrow!
