The north easter is a sea breeze caused my cool water and warm land. Yes it is good that its predictable. You just need to keep an eye south for any changes that may come through and catch you out.
I never go out without logging on to the forecast and having a look at the radar.
Hey Ken. I had to look up Kewl. I know "cool" but you just taught me a knew spelling.
Ken those conditions you just described are correct. 6 to 9 footers with a bit of froth on top. Swell period I'm just trying to picture in my head but probably about 10 or so seconds .
I remember going around a point one day when they were steepening up closer to shore and that was fun head on but not with it from behind. In that instance we were estimating 4 to 5 m with no wind or chop on top. Still more than interesting.
