Hey yeah i was hassling over how to convert my DA sander to make it dustless.
Lots of tupperware in the kitchen cabinet here to try.

If i make something decent that works i will post a picture.

: i use a sump pump hose, its really cheap and doesnt collapse, good for dust
: but attached to my router table clogs in minutes, thats because its not
: smooth inside, solution for that was to attach a rigid pipe down to a
: bucket and then attach the vacuum to that, with time i modified to attach
: more than one vacuum to it for more suction or to automatically alternate
: in case they are overheating when i do some quick and dirty vacuumbagging.
: ROS that have attachments to pick up the dust usually use a perforated
: sandpaper so if you cut your own pieces out of big sheets and dont punch
: out the holes suction gets noticeably less. For the others that are older
: and/or dont have the tube ready (the dusty by design ones) its failry easy
: to make a skirt to attach to it cut out from a plastic container of the
: right size, the hose its connected to the skirt and the dust its gone,
: but, since we all have fiberglass at hand, its almost easier to stick some
: foam around the tool, shape it and then use it as mold to craft your own
: skirt, the result is sturdy and rugged enough to last a long time.
