Well, I did make a GPS case out of the stuff and a VHF radio case... I did it on a kayak more for fun and show than for actually paddling. I wouldn't trust it in any situation where my life could depend on the performance of a kayak. Or around rocks, sticks, pointy things.

It looks cool though. And was fun. I sold the boat for cost of material earlier this year. Haven't heard if it is holding up.
