Thanks Bill. I've switched over to poly-urethanes for all my strippers (bright finished and painted boats). I guess I was still thinking in it was a fiberglass stripper. You're absolutely correct. I have good part of case left of Epifane's Wood Finish Gloss left over. The PAL should use up a chunk of it quite nicely...

: Btw, boat built that way you definately want to use traditional spar varnish
: and no epoxy on the outside. Boats built that way the planks move against
: each other, like a mahogany runabout, anything harder than spar varnish
: will crack along the plank seams, spar varnish remains flexible and allows
: this movement without cracking.
