My way of speeding up (and increase crosslinking for more strength) small glue projects is to place the glued piece in front of an electric car heater, and a cardboard box over - placed so that the temp sensor of the heater is outside the box (otherwise it shuts down). Same effect, but with the advantage of being done outside the house, to avoid increased level of plastic fumes indoors.
