I just add enough graphite powder to blacken the epoxy really well and thicken it just slightly. Sorry, but I don't know what ration that turns out to be. I apply the first coat, sand it smooth, and apply the second coat as smooth as posible. Occasional, as the tip edges wear through from surf launches, I reapply more blackened epoxy only where it wore through.
