No problem mixing the two different speed epoxies. Just be aware that fast epoxies produce wayÊmore blush.

Beckson hatches work great and also check out Viking hatches.

I used the ones with the cam handle lock and some kayak manufacturers do as well. they were 100% water tight.

You want cheap and fast? Buy plans and build a S & G with Luan.

For putting a plastic or rubber hatch on a curved surface you can check out my Kayak Sport installation here. It applies to all flat hatches.
