I'm planning on a stripper. Basically because the kayak I'm thinking about building was designed on Kayak Foundry. Also I have built a S&G kayak before and prefer strips and I have enough scrap wood for strips that I shouldn't have to buy any.

: Does it have to be a stripper? An S&G or SOF would save time and money from
: what I've read. I have only built a strip boat so far, but I would like to
: try other methods someday.
