Not a design that I would suggest using. Yes, change the deck, raise the bow and change the chine line. The CC always looks as if it is a submarine about to dive and know friends who built a couple and think that too.

Not a bad idea, very fast rough build, don't bother with a deck and paddle it in a pond. Use epoxy only for the seams and possible paint the ply or don't even do that, it will only be in the water for a short while.
