Epoxy allergies caused two friends of mine to develop their own companies and become prosperous. Both worked in the model master dept. making plaster models/ epoxy masters. When each at different times in their lives developed epoxy allergies they were transferred to the wood pattern department, which is a trade in itself along with servicing a foundry. Great all around experience when combined together. One started his own aluminum foundry and pattern shop that made precision aluminum castings for defense work, etc. and the other started his own pattern shop making masters for automobiles such as dash boards, tail lights, etc. These guys turned sow’s ears into purses.
