: That is sweet. Kind of like a home made jigsaw. However, it fits into the

Actually, it is an ideal tool for working in a small space, and working with a small budget.

One nice thing about this is that you can remove the saw, take the legs off by removing a few screws, and the flat top is just a bit larger than a notebook. Easy to store.

I do most of my work outside, and this is not the season. Right now my small shop space is too clutered to use, so I cut all the parts in a bit over an hour working in my kitchen. It was easier to sweep up the sawdust from the linoleum than to vacuum it out of the living room carpet.

Actually, not a lot of sawdust to play with. Jig saws and sabre saws have a smaller kerf than a circular saw, So they make less dust, and tend to pull the sawdust in a very predictable direction (in this case, down). Once you have the table made, most of the sawdust it produces will come out under the table.

You can bolt, glue, or even duct tape a connection for your home vacuum cleaner so it is under the table and out of the way. A quick job, and it sucks up 90 % of the dust produced while you cut. Spend a bit of time tweaking that dust collection process and you'll get even more. Sweep up the rest when you are done.
