After talking with a number of Great Lakes paddlers, including Mr. Ross Leidy, I think there are enough of us in the region to warrant building a long boat. Yep, that's right a S & G long boat. Would probably carve the dragon head from laminated cedar. So, anyone have plans or offsets for a 35' long boat and a heated garage we could build it in? I mean winter is LONG up here and cabin fever is a very real threat to our sanity. Hey, maybe I could satisfy my total addiction to this stuff by strip building a long boat. That would keep me occupied for...;)
