Hi Bert

You're not doing so bad. Just maybe putting it on a bit thick at one time. That's when a lot of orange peel takes place. I'd let the coats cure a bit longer before adding another and keep the layers a bit thinner. ( not thinned, but applied with less material ) I don't know the particulars on that epoxy, but you can probably get a good chem.-bond even up to 48 hrs.
You can get rid of the orange peel with a fairing board and go through a range of grits, in the medium range. Maybe 100 to 220 or so. I wouldn't tend to use the ROS in this situation as you may work certain areas longer than others and cause uneveness(?). Stop once in a while to see the pimples slowly go away, then start up the scale to the finer grit. Don't need to over-do it. Just enough to take the bumps out and stop. Hope all comes out well.
