It was actually Bill Lowe who told me it was 15% shrinkage. You need quite a bit of heat to get it to shrink - which is an advantage. I don't own a heat gun and went over my entire boat with a propane torch and believe me it shrank. It was like a drumm and small wrikles totally dissappeared.

go to www.connyak.org and look under boatbuilders and you can see it and check out Dean Bertoldi's skin boat as well. Same skin and epoxy coating.
