The hole is about 1" all the way around and right at a seam. the delamination that is occuring is along the seams and where the boat took some impact. One of the panels is split between the plys. I was going to ayringe some epoxy into the panel and then do as you said, stitch, glue, glass,fill, etc. I will probably have to do some thickened epoxy around the patch. The hole is so ragged I may also have to get some wood to use as patch if I clean up the hole before I patch it. Uggh! My beautiful boat is blemished forever!
