I installed my Keepers footbraces with stainless T-nuts mounted into a piece of plywood and epoxied to the inside hull.It will shift your footbraces inboard about 1/4 inch which shouldn't be a problem.There is information on this forum if you search the archives.A bit more work than drilling but a much more dignified installation.
