Thanks for all the feedback, guys. Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but just got home from a Grand Canyon history symposium. Deck varnish tomorrow and Tuesdays evening, then off to the Black Canyon below Hoover dam for a "leak test" (and a soak of my old bones in the hot springs) next weekend.
